7. Denver Nuggets (4-1)

After missing the playoffs by only a few games over the course of the last two seasons, the Denver Nuggets became one of the darlings over the NBA summer. Many jumped on their bandwagon, and how could you not with the young core that they have.

Led by Nikola Jokic and Gary Harris, this team has its sights set on making a return to the NBA Playoffs. And with the start that they’ve had, I think it’s pretty safe to assume that they’re going to finally break through this season.

Unfortunately, the injury bug has already begun to hit with Will Barton expected to miss a few weeks. But if this team doesn’t fall too behind, they will have a chance to really shakeup the West standings this season.
