Cleveland Cavaliers star Kevin Love will likely miss a month of action due to an injury to his toe on his left foot
The Cleveland Cavaliers have gotten off to a woeful start, and are currently the only team in the NBA that hasn’t tallied a win through roughly the first two weeks of the season. They are 0-6, and it’s likely going to get a lot worse before it gets better.
That’s because Kevin Love, who has missed the team’s last two games with foot soreness could miss a month of action due to that injury, which is apparently on his left foot.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski says it’s a “strong possibility” that the all-star will be out for a while. Not great, especially considering that the team just fired their head coach over the weekend.

"The Cleveland Cavaliers are preparing for the strong possibility that five-time All-Star forward Kevin Love could miss more than a month with an injured toe in his left foot, league sources told ESPN."
Love has been really the only stability in the Cavs lineup through the first six games of the season. In the four games that he played this season, Love averaged 19 points and 14 rebounds on just 32 percent shooting from the field.
Eve though he was clearly struggling with his shot to start the season, he was clearly the best thing going on offense for this team to start the year off. Even though it didn’t result in any “wins” his loss will be felt. It’s going to be interesting – or frightening – to see how this team looks over an extended time out Love available.
It could turn extremely ugly, really fast for this team. There’s not leadership on this roster, especially without knowing who the coach is going to be in the long-term, and losing a veteran like Love is going to rough.
