14. Detroit Pistons (4-5)

Last week: 5

The Detroit Pistons have been largely good this season, and a big reason why has been the reemergence of Blake Griffin, who is playing back at an all-star level. He’s doing a little of everything and has even been great at playmaking.

If Griffin continues to play at this level for the remainder of the season, it’s hard to believe that the Pistons won’t be in the playoffs this season. They’re one of the teams in the East that has really improved from last season.

The Pistons aren’t at the same level as a few other of the East teams, but they’re still better than average. And, in the East, that should be good enough for the playoffs.
