11. Oklahoma City Thunder (5-4)

Last week: 14 

After really slow start to the season, the Oklahoma City Thunder are beginning to right the ship a bit. The Thunder’s offense is still in a rut and they’re currently in the bottom third in the league on that end of the floor.

On defense, though, this team is a top 10 defensive squad. And it’s the biggest reason why this team managed to remain afloat. Plus, the return of Russell Westbrook has also helped. Much like last season, this team is rounding into shape after a rough start.

The good news is that no team, other than the Warriors, in the West is really running away in the standings. The Nuggets and are largely expected to fall back to the pack a little. The Thunder is fine.
