6. Indiana Pacers (7-4)

Last week: 9

The Indiana Pacers continue to impress thus far this season, picking up where they left off after surprising the entire Eastern Conference last season. They continue to build off their success from last season and appear to be ready to battle for homecourt in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

Whether they actually finish as one of the top 4 teams in the East remains to be seen, because despite popular belief the Eastern Conference actually improved from last season. They will have to beat-out teams like the Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers, assuming that the Toronto Raptors and Boston Celtics will seal the top two spots.

Don’t look now, but Victor Oladipo will likely make his second-straight NBA All-Star game. He’s for real, and isn’t going anywhere.
