2000 NBA Draft

Drafted:

3. Marcus Fizer, Iowa State

Marcus Fizer was a terrible No.v3 pick. Fizer second season with the Bulls was the best season of his career as he averaged 12.3 points and 5.6 rebounds a game.

32. A.J. Guyton, Indiana

Can you believe the Bulls drafted A.J. Guyton and Khalid El-Amin of UConn over Michael Redd? Guyton, the former All-American and Big 10 Player of the Year, played three seasons in the NBA where he averaged 5.5 points a game for his career. In 2006, Guyton was diagnosed with glaucoma in each eye and underwent treatment.

34. Khalid El-Amin, UConn

Khalid El-Amin averaged 6.3 points in his only season in the NBA.

Passed up:

43. Michael Redd, Ohio State

Michael Redd turned out to be a pretty good NBA player that the Bulls passed up. He averaged 21-26 points a game for six of his first nine seasons. The Bulls passed him up three times in the Draft before the Milwaukee Bucks drafted him with the 43rd overall pick in the second round.
