One player that will likely walk or be traded over the next few weeks is Terry Rozier, who emerged amidst the team’s injury struggles last season. Rozier is a free agent after this season, and could be a cap casualty.

Stepping in for Kyrie Irving last season, Rozier averaged 17 points, six assists and five rebounds for the Celtics in the playoffs. He helped lead them to the Eastern Conference Finals where they lost in Game 7 to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

However, this season Rozier is back to his role as Kyrie’s backup and is only averaging 22 minutes per game – something that he might not be happy about, especially considering his breakout performance in the playoffs.

According to The Athletic, Rozier is yielding trade interest from a few teams around the league. And no matter what Danny Ainge says, there’s no question that there will be an honest conversation about this issue sooner rather than later.
