Wayne Ellington/Rodney McGruder, Miami Heat

There are two potential targets that are currently on the Miami Heat‘s roster, Wayne Ellington and Rodney McGruder. Both of these players will almost automatically give the Sixers a shot in the arm, but could be difficult to pry away from Pat Riley and company.

Both of these players are expiring contracts, but would likely cost a first-round pick in order for Miami to get interested. I’m not sure the Sixers are willing to go that far for a player that will probably be the 7th or 8th best player on the team.

Ellington is shooting 42 percent from 3-point range on more than six attempts per game. He’s a player that is more of a catch-and-shoot option, and can really fit on any type of system. McGruder has the ability to do a bit more off the dribble and is shooting 46 percent from 3-point range on nearly five attempts per contest.
