Wesley Matthews, Dallas Mavericks

Assuming that the Dallas Mavericks fall a bit in the Western Conference, they will likely be looking to move Wesley Matthews who is a free agent after this season. And much like Korver, Matthews might be the perfect fit for the Sixers.

In what is his contract year, Matthews is having a nice bounce-back year, averaging 17 points on 42 precent from the field and 38 percent from 3-point range. Assuming that the Mavs will be keying on the future and now immediate success, moving Matthews would make a lot of sense for this team.

Matthews would likely cost a first-round pick or a young, promising player in return – and that’s something that the Sixers have at their disposal. Apart from Korver, Matthews being traded to the Sixers is one of my favorite hypothetical moves.

This needs to happen.
