Terry Rozier to the Phoenix Suns
Trade Details
Boston Celtics Receive: PF Dragon Bender, 2020 1st Round Pick, Cash Considerations
Phoenix Suns Receive: PG Terry Rozier
The Boston Celtics have a logjam with their abundant depth of wing players. The Celtics have more quality and talented players than they have minutes available to play these players. With that being said there is a great chance the Celtics might have to move one of these players for the benefit of the overall team.
A trade that could be very beneficial for both the Celtics and the possible partner is that of the Phoenix Suns. The Suns currently have a young core built around Devin Booker and 2018 1st overall pick Deandre Ayton. A solid Point Guard is the missing piece that could give the Phoenix Suns a strong future core.
A trade landing Terry Rozier would allow Rozier to reach for his immense potential given more opportunity with the Suns. For the Celtics, they would add a nice prospect, who is still very young (age 20) in Dragan Bender that could potentially in another environment develop into the player his was projected to be as the 4th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. Given the Celtics great coaching staff lead by Brad Stevens, Bender could be a major addition given their player development track record.
