9. Charlotte Hornets – Kemba Walker & Jeremy Lamb

Kemba Walker is the driving force behind the Charlotte Hornets being quite competitive this season. They’re not sitting atop the Eastern Conference standings by any means, but they are proving to be a potential playoff contender.

The team is 7-7 on the year, and currently sitting in the top 8 of the conference. And a big reason why is not only the play of Walker, who is averaging a career-high 26 points, four rebounds and six assists per game, but also Jeremy Lamb.

Lamb has been solid so far this season, averaging 13 points and five rebounds on 39 percent from 3-point range.
