3. Denver Nuggets – Jamal Murray & Gary Harris

The Denver Nuggets have been the biggest surprise of the early NBA season with a 10-5 record. Both backcourt members have been solid, Jamal Murray – who is averaging 18 points, four rebounds and four assists (including a 48-point explosion vs. the Celtics) – Gary Harris – who is averaging 17 points and four rebounds per game.

They are the future of the way NBA teams will play, two guards both can create a bit, shoot a bit and defend a bit; totally interchangeable. Also playing with a center like Nikola Jokic who can create shots for them further increases their value.

Denver will be a playoff team this season and a big reason why is because the play of their backcourt.
