13. Detroit Pistons (7-6)

Last week: 13

I still haven’t figured out the Detroit Pistons, and I’m not sure if I like this team in the East or if I don’t. They have talent on the roster, but this team still is missing that second star. Blake continues to be impressive (though he’s had a few rough patches over the last couple of weeks), but is desperate of a second player to set up.

So far that hasn’t happened, and that’s probably the biggest reason why this team hasn’t been winning more often. But that will likely be the case for much of the season. They’re going to be a quality team at times, and then confusing at others.

All in all, this is a team that will challenge for a playoff spot in the East.
