NBA Rumors: The Markelle Fultz situation is about to get even more complicated, as the Sixers’ guard is set to see a shoulder specialist again
If you didn’t think the Markelle Fultz situation was bizarre enough, expect it to get all the more confusing as the Philadelphia 76ers guard prepares to see a shoulder specialist again next week.
According to The Athletic’s David Aldridge, Fultz has been advised to see a specialist and will not practice or play any games for the Sixers until he gets reevaluated.
Take it all in. There are many different angles that this can be tackled, and it does bring a ton of more questions than answers. From the sound of this all, however, it appears this entire situation is about to get even more complicated.
There are many different ways to interpret what exactly is going on right now, and it’s almost impossible to know what conversations are going on behind the scenes. However, the fact that his attorney is now involved certainly adds a different element that we haven’t been introduced to since this entire saga began.
Is Fultz and his camp potentially trying to lay the groundwork for a potential lawsuit against the Philadelphia 76ers?
Is his attorney saying that he’s had enough and it’s time to finally get to the bottom of this? It’s hard to read all the signs without even more information than we currently have at the moment. One thing is for sure, though, and it’s that there needs to be some sort of resolution sooner rather than later.
And perhaps this is the first step in potentially achieving such conclusion to this story, and one that we could all use at this point. After this most recent report, I can’t help but wonder if we’ve seen Markelle Fultz play his final game in a Sixers uniform.
