San Antonio Spurs

Gregg Popovich’s resume

The San Antonio Spurs should be thankful for the past two decades. But it’s time for the rest of the NBA to realize that their reign as one of the best teams in the NBA is over. The Spurs will likely miss the playoffs this season, as they sit with an 8-8 record through the first month of the season.

Even after acquiring DeMar DeRozan, this team just feels off. Something is missing and it’s in Toronto at the moment.

But it’s hard to criticize the Spurs. How can you? This is a franchise that dominated the West for many years, and haunted many teams time and time again. Give the Spurs a break. They deserve it.
