The reset button

The news-cycle hasn’t been kind to the Washington Wizards over the last few days. From in-house fighting to potential trades for John Wall and Bradley Beal, this team has more work to be done before it gets back to normal.

However, one thing that the Wizards should be thankful for is the reset button and the ability for them to hit it rather quickly. The Wizards, unlike a few other teams stuck in mediocrity, have the ability to make moves. They have tradable players.

There will be teams lining up to do business with this franchise, because it’s not that their roster is terrible, it’s just that it fits horribly. The Wizards have talent. No one would deny that. It’s just talent that needs to be on different ends of the league, apparently.

So as the Wizards ponder to hit the reset button, it should bring them comfort that if they so choose to rebuild they could do it rather easily.
