Which NBA old-timers should continue with their careers and which longtime washed up players should call it quits

When a player hits around his 15th year in the NBA, chances are he’s on the decline in terms of talent and career. There are some exceptions LeBron James who is showing no signs of slowing down in his 16th season in which he’ll be turning 34 this December.

However, the vast majority of NBA players don’t necessarily have the athleticism they once had when they entered the league in their twenties. Some veterans know where they belong and are doing great work as role players to teams in need of help developing young cores.

And some oldies are still trying to live or re-live their glory days only to find that those days are way behind them. It’s time to see which longtime NBA players should continue with what they’re doing or call it at the end of this season.
