Vince Carter: Keep playing

Current team: Atlanta Hawks

Vinsanity is one of the last remaining actives from the 1998 draft class and currently the oldest player in the NBA. The eight-time all-star hasn’t let his age get in the way of contributing to the game in any way he can.

Vince Carter is currently on the Atlanta Hawks, his 8th team in his NBA career, and has been a key asset to this young Hawks team. He’s started eight of the 16 games this season so far averaging seven points 2.4 rebounds while shooting 42.4 percent from the field. While his stats might not show his prowess it is in his mentoring and role-playing abilities where he shines the most.

The two-time All-NBA stud signed a minimum one-year deal with Atlanta with a purpose to help improve the early year potential found in players like Taurean Prince, John Collins, and 2018 lottery pick Trae Young. Carter knows his role unlike most players around his age, and he can still play ball like he used to if need be.
