NBA: 4 offseason moves paying early dividends in 2018-19

The NBA’s summer was jam-packed with blockbuster moves. But beyond the superstars that changed teams, some under-the-radar additions have had a big impact.
The 2018 NBA offseason was one of the most action-packed in recent memory. Looking back now, blockbuster deals with big-name players are the first that spring to mind – LeBron James signing with the Los Angeles Lakers, Kawhi Leonard being traded to the Toronto Raptors, and DeMarcus Cousins shocking the NBA and joining the defending champion Golden State Warriors.
The deals didn’t end there though, as a host of lesser lights also found their way to new homes. And while the superstars have mostly lived up to their lofty expectations, a number of under-the-radar additions have exceeded theirs.
Among all of the offseason mayhem, here are four players who have immediately taken a liking to their new teams and excelled in the season’s first quarter.
