Indiana Pacers
Record: 13-9
Grade: B
After surprising the NBA after securing the 5th seed in the Eastern Conference last season and then nearly knocking off the LeBron James and the Cavs in the playoffs, the Indiana Pacers are picking up where they left off.
Indiana currently has the fourth best record in the East and is going to be in the race for home-court in the first round of the playoffs. Victor Oladipo appears to be the real deal, and last season wasn’t just a flash in the pan.
The Pacers are still likely a couple of pieces from competing on the big stage of the East, with some of the other elites, but they’re getting close.
