Minnesota Timberwolves

Record: 11-11

Grade: C+

Despite everything that this team had to go through – through only the fault of management – they’ve actually been better than most expected. Through the first quarter of the season, the Minnesota Timberwolves are 11-11 and beginning to play their best basketball after all the drama that surrounded Jimmy Butler and his eventual trade.

Since trading Jimmy, the Wolves are 7-2 and are currently on a four-game winning streak. It’s safe to say that despite all the whispers and chaos that surrounded that team in the midst of a disgruntled star wanting out, they probably managed it the best.

The team is still in contention for the playoffs and is really beginning to come into their own after losing its best player. It hasn’t been great, but they get a passing grade.
