9. Ja Morant, G, Murray State
Before the season started, Ja Morant wasn’t a name that most NBA Draft experts were drooling over. However, that has changed over the last few weeks. Murray has made a huge jump from last year to this season.
He’s currently averaging 24 points, seven rebounds and nine assists per game, on 57 percent shooting from the field and 36 percent from 3-point range. Those are outstanding numbers for a player that is only 6-foot-3 tall and a point guard.
If Morant continues to play at this high level throughout his sophomore season, there’s no question that he’s going to continue to rise up the NBA Draft charts.
