8. Kevin Porter Jr., G, USC

Kevin Porter Jr. is barely scratching the surface of the player that he can be at USC, but I also have a feeling that this is a prospect that might actually be better at the pro level than in college. He can score from anywhere on the floor and has the build to be a good defensive player.

He’s averaging a modest 12 points on 54 percent shooting from the field and 35 percent from 3-point range. Again, these aren’t numbers that particularly jump off the screen, but consider that he’s only responsible for a limited role at this point in the Trojans offense.

Porter Jr. could end up being one of the biggest steals in the NBA Draft if he’s selected this late in the top 10, and I have a feeling that he’s only going to rise as the NCAA season progresses and when individual workouts begin.
