18. San Antonio Spurs (15-15)

For much of the season, the San Antonio Spurs have struggled mightily with their identity and hierarchy in the Western Conference. However, over the last few games they may have begun to find their footing this year.

The Spurs have won four of their last five games, and are playing at a high level during that stretch. In fact, they’re also beginning to turn it around on the defensive side of the ball.

On that side of the floor, for much of the season, the Spurs have had a bottom five defense in the league. Over the last five games, they’ve had the best defense and second-best offense. It is an extremely small sample size, but could be hinting at San Antonio possibly turning it around.
