3. Denver Nuggets (19-9)
It’s one thing for the Denver Nuggets to be in the top 8 of the Western Conference at this point of the season. It’s a complete different thing for them to be sitting atop the conference through the first third of the season.
But that’s exactly what the Nuggets are doing. Even with losing numerous rotation players due to injury at different points of the season, with the most recent of them being Paul Millsap, the Nuggets keep churning the machine.
Denver currently has the best record in the conference, and appear to be a shoe-in at making a return to the playoffs. Hopefully they can hold on with Millsap out with a broken toe.
