NBA Trade Rumors: After a rough start to the season, the Utah Jazz are reportedly one of the teams interested in trading for Jabari Parker
Before the season, many rushed to jump onto the bandwagon of the Utah Jazz. After beating the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the playoffs last season, many expected this Jazz team to take another step this year.
So far, though, that hasn’t happened. In fact, the Jazz have gotten off to one of the worst starts in the Western Conference. Utah is 14-16, ranked 13th in the Western Conference. Perhaps the only silver lining is the face that the Jazz have already played 19 road games this season.
That’s right, nearly two-thirds of the Jazz’s first 30 games have come on the road. Maybe that has to do more with their poor start than many are saying, but there are no excuses in the NBA. No time for them.

The Jazz are in trouble, and need to right the ship before they fall even further back of the playoff picture in the Western Conference. And that’s where Jabari Parker can come into the picture. According to a report from The Ringer, the Jazz are one of the teams that are interested in acquiring the current Bull.
"[via The Ringer]The Utah Jazz are one of the teams interested in Parker, according to multiple league sources."
Parker fell out of the team’s rotation over the weekend, and it was recently reported that the Bulls were actively trying to trade Parker. So far no traction has been made on a deal, or at least no publicly.
While Parker is putting up respectable numbers this season – 15 points and seven rebounds per game – the defensive side is where his struggles really lie. And until he becomes a better defender, or is hidden in a great team scheme, he’s going to continue to play big minutes for any team in the NBA.
Could the Jazz be the team to get his career back on track? If Utah continues to lose games, they could be desperate enough to roll the dice on the former Duke Blue Devil.
