Being about 30 games into the current NBA season, we can get a good feel for the players that we would consider most improved in the NBA. This type of an award for many people feels like the “you sucked, but now you don’t” award. However, that simply is the wrong way to think about it.

The most improved players in the NBA should consider this as something that explains their work ethic. Not every NBA player steps into the league with a complete game. Not even LeBron James, Kevin Durant, or even Michael Jordan had complete all-around games when they stepped into the professional game.

They had to work at it.
