The Detroit Pistons have been somewhat of a pleasant surprise this season, with not many expecting this team to be in the playoff race of the Eastern Conference at all. However, thanks to a resurgent year on the part of Blake Griffin, this team is sitting in the 6th spot of the East at the moment.

But one of the biggest holes in Detroit’s lineup continues to come at the small forward position, where this team is shuffling through Stanley Johnson, Luke Kennard and a few other shooting guards playing out of position.

If this team wants to be buyers at the NBA Trade Deadline, expect for them to target small forwards. If they can get a reliable one, this team could be a shoe-in for the playoffs.
