Philadelphia 76ers: A sharpshooting deep threat
The Philadelphia 76ers did well by landing Jimmy Butler a few weeks ago. But in the process lost two of their most consistent threats from 3-point range in Robert Covington and Dario Saric. There’s no question that this team needs to do what it can to replace those threats before the NBA Trade Deadline.
And while they won’t land the overall production from those two players, they just need to land the outside threat. Perhaps a player like Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, J.R. Smith or Wayne Ellington would do the trick.
But they just need to make the move already, before one of the teams they’re in direct competition with makes the move first.
