Toronto Raptors: Four more years from Kawhi
The Toronto Raptors have been every bit as good as last season, even after losing DeMar DeRozan. However, the hope is that they’ll be even better in the playoffs. And that’s really all that matters for this franchise at this point.
They traded for Kawhi knowing that they could very have only one real shot at breaking through in the Eastern Conference, and that was good enough for the team to move forward with the deal. However, it would be great if this team could get four more years with Kawhi.
And that means him re-signing an extension with the team. However, it’s tough to gauge where Kawhi’s mind is at this point. Toronto would love to re-sign him, though.
