8. Los Angeles Lakers (19-13)
I can’t help but think that the Lakers are playing with house money this season, even more so considering that the team is a top 4 team in the Western Conference right now. LeBron’s move to Los Angeles was never about winning big in year one.
He knew that this was going to be a process, and that this roster was not ready to compete, much less win, an NBA Championship during his first year with the Lakers.
With Anthony Davis possibly hitting the NBA trade block sooner rather than later, it’s going to be interesting to see how this season plays out for the Lakers. Is this team really just an AD away from being players in the West?
