Denver Nuggets: Securing a playoff spot
This might be an oversight by most NBA fans, especially if you’ve been paying attention to what the Denver Nuggets are doing this season. But in the NBA, every season should be a step in any franchise’s road to a championship.
Right now, the Nuggets should be focusing on making the playoffs – not winning a playoff series. I say that because this team has, over the last two years, seen hot streaks fall in vain. They missed the playoffs by one game last year and the year before.
This Nuggets team is immensely talented, and has continued to look impressive despite numerous injuries to rotation players, but making the playoffs should be the first step in 2019.
