22. New Orleans Pelicans (16-21)

As the New Orleans Pelicans continue to struggle, and there’s nothing to suggest that they won’t, the Anthony Davis whispers are only going to grow louder. And for the last two weeks, that’s exactly what has happened.

A dinner with LeBron James turned into an entire column from the national media. This is going to be more of the norm moving forward for Davis, so the Pelicans should get comfortable with it. Either that, or they better start shopping him.

The end is going to be painful for the Pelicans here. We’ve seen this movie many times before in the NBA, and it almost never ends with a happy ending for the franchise.
