14. San Antonio Spurs (20-17)

Credit where credit is due, the San Antonio Spurs have really proved me wrong over the last few weeks. Just when I thought this team was dead in the water and in need of a rebuild, they turn around and win nine of their last 12 games.

The Spurs have the look of a team that still has yet to play its best basketball, and one that will likely be in contention for one of the final playoff spots in the Western Conference.

Gregg Popovich is once again working his magic on a flawed roster, and is getting the most out of his players – something that he seemingly does year in and year out.
