Acquiring Anthony Davis

Trade details:

New Orleans Pelicans receive: Kentavious Caldwell-PopeKyle KuzmaJosh Hart, Ivica ZubacMichael Beasley, 2020 1st Round Pick, 2022 1st Round Pick

Los Angeles Lakers receive: Anthony Davis

The first potential trade option for the Lakers would be an all-time blockbuster that would see Los Angeles land Anthony Davis. Rumors have been swirling about the potential of Davis landing in Los Angeles, and as the New Orleans Pelicans continue to spiral towards the bottom of the West, perhaps we can see it happening sooner rather than later.

In this trade the Pelicans get the opportunity to begin to rebuild around Jrue Holiday, Julius Randle and Kyle Kuzma. While with the two first-round picks, the Pelicans would get some draft capital out of trading the great Anthony Davis. This would give the Lakers arguably the best 1-2 combination in the NBA and the maybe the best we have seen since the vaunted Kobe and Shaq pairing with the Lakers.
