Landing Lou Williams

Trade details:

Los Angeles Clippers receive: Brandon Ingram

Spurs receive: Lou Williams, 2020 1st Round Pick (via Mem)

This trade would give the Lakers a more consistent offensive punch and elite perimeter scoring. In adding a Lou Williams to back-up the Lakers backcourt, it would also give Los Angeles an elite member off their bench, which is essential for a championship team.

Williams is a perennial sixth man of the candidate who would make a solid replacement of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope as well as Williams can score with any of the best offensive players in the entire NBA. Williams could be a vital piece for a 2019 Championship Laker team.

As for the Clippers, this trade would give them another young and talented player that more fits the timeline of their core players the Clippers are currently building around. Ingram could potentially flourish in a back-court with rookie point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
