Potential rotation

Lakers starting lineup:

PG Lonzo Ball

PG Rajon Rondo

SF LeBron James

PF Anthony Davis

C JaVale McGee

Lakers bench:

SG Lou Williams

G Lance Stephenson

C Tyson Chandler

SF Vince Carter

PF/C Moe Wagner

This potential 2019 Lakers team would be able to play a style of basketball that fits Rajon Rondo that could bring the best basketball out of not only LeBron James but also young star Lonzo Ball as well as Anthony Davis.

Pairing Lonzo Ball and Rajon Rondo in the back-court could make for a top-tier defensive and play-making duo in all the NBA. Pair that back-court with a frontline of LeBron James, Anthony Davis and JaVale McGee/Tyson Chandler the Lakers could be a team almost impossible to beat in a 7 game series.

In the playoffs, where teams have to go about 7 to 8 players strong, the Lakers could add to this team one of these 3-and-D wing players that could be potential buyouts and sign candidates. Those players would be Dallas Mavericks guard Wesley Matthews, New York Knicks defender Courtney Lee, or Sacramento Kings wing-man Iman Shumpert as great pick-ups that could really contribute for the Lakers.

Match any one of these three players with the potential bench of Lou Williams, Tyson Chandler, Lance Stephenson and the Los Angeles Lakers could be a dangerous out for any Western Conference team this year.
