Just like Booker, Luka Doncic holds the same fate as the Suns rising star: extremely talented but just not enough to compete for a spot with the powerhouses of the west. The difference between Booker and Doncic, however, is that this is Luka’s first year in the league.
The starter for the Dallas Mavericks hasn’t even played a full season and NBA fans all over the country have been blown away with how well he’s done so far. Doncic is averaging 19.4 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game and is currently the front-runner for Rookie of The Year.
Doncic is also top 5 in votes for the All-Star game acquiring more votes than NBA superstars like Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis. The fans really want Doncic in Charlotte and with the numbers he has been dropping every game it isn’t totally farfetched to think that he could make an appearance.
