NBA Trade Deadline: One player every team should look to move

Brooklyn Nets: DeMarre Carroll

The Brooklyn Nets are in an interesting situation. They’re currently 7th in the Eastern Conference, and will likely be in the mix for a potential playoff spot this season. With that said, I’m not entirely sure this team shouldn’t look to sell off some of their veterans.

And if so, DeMarre Carroll should be at the front of their agenda. He’s certainly a player that could help a contender immediately and is also an expiring contract so he would be attractive to other contending teams looking to add a rental at the NBA Trade Deadline.

The Nets could acquire a nice draft pick in exchange for Carroll, and could still theoretically compete for a playoff spot in the East. Things are certainly looking up for the Nets all of a sudden.
