3. Giannis Antetoknoumpo, Milwaukee Bucks
Season stats: 26.7 ppg, 12.6 rpg, 5.9 apg, 1.3 spg, 1.5 bpg, 58% fg, 17% 3 pt, 70% ft
Team record: 30-12 (2nd in East)
Put simply, Giannis is the most physically imposing player the NBA has seen in some time and he’s putting his talents on full display this year.
Him and newly instated head coach, Mike Budenholzer have helped Milwaukee take that next step and become true contenders in the Eastern Conference this year.
The one weakness in the Greek Freak’s game is his jumpshot and even despite his lack of accuracy from the outside, he is still somehow shooting 58 percent from the field. If this man gets any sort of consistent jumper it’s going to be goodnight to the rest of the NBA and we could pretty much just wrap up this MVP conversation.
