NBA Trade Rumors: The Atlanta Hawks are open to multiple deals and the Sacramento Kings appear to be targeting Jeremy Lin
The NBA Trade Deadline is less than a month away, and there are multiple teams that are expected to be active – perhaps very – in the comings weeks. Two of those teams happen to be the Sacramento Kings and Atlanta Hawks.
According to a recent report from New York Times scribe Marc Stein, the Hawks are open to possibly moving multiple players as the NBA Trade Deadline approaches – Dewayne Dedmon, Kent Bazemore (which we’ve heard before) and Jeremy Lin.
One of the teams that is reportedly after Lin is the Kings, who have been one of the most surprising teams in the league this season. Sacramento, at the midway point of the season, is two games over .500 and just a half game back of the Los Angeles Lakers for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

If the Kings hope to make a strong playoff push during the second half of the season, they could use all the help they can get. And that includes bolstering their backcourt depth. To make the playoffs this season would be a huge win for the Kings, who many expected to be one of the worst teams in the league coming into the season.
As for the Hawks, it’s not surprising to see that they want to trade away a few of their veterans. Atlanta is one of the worst teams in the NBA, and it make sense for them to try and get any additional assets they can get for a few of the most valuable veteran players on their roster.
Bazemore, who is having arguably the best season of his career, would be a great asset to any team that needs depth at the wing. Lin is no longer in the prime of his career, but he’s still a player that can be a spark off the bench and has playoff experience.
The Hawks and Kings are just two of the teams that are expected to be active in the weeks leading up to the NBA Trade Deadline. Buckle up.
