2019 NBA Trade Deadline: 5 teams to keep an eye on

The Miami Heat is another team that is confusing and kind of stuck. They are the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference and will likely make the NBA Playoffs, short of getting hit hard by the injury bug during the second half of the season.

However, they’re going nowhere fast and have an unbalanced roster. And that’s beginning to cause more problems than they’d like (see: Dion Waiters and his latest outburst about not getting enough minutes since his return from injury).

There’s no question that the Heat need to make a move at the NBA Trade Deadline, but it won’t be easy, especially if they don’t want to move any of their assets in order to shed salary. The Heat will be one team to keep an eye on, almost because they HAVE to do something in the coming weeks.
