Dallas Mavericks vs. Milwaukee Bucks

Time: 2:00 p.m. (ET)

The Dallas Mavericks and Milwaukee Bucks tip off just after noon on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and that matchup could be special. The Mavericks have the current favorite for Rookie of the Year (Luka Doncic) while the Bucks have a favorite for Most Valuable Player (Giannis Antetokounmpo).

For Dallas, Doncic has not only given the team life this season but his play has been so outstanding that he could be a All-Star game starter in his rookie year. Doncic has looked like a seasoned veteran and has had several big time shots come in the clutch. The Mavericks might not have the talent to upset the Bucks but with Doncic they at least have a player who can keep it close.

As for the Bucks, not only do they have the leagues favorite for MVP but its been the rest of the teams starting lineup that has helped propel the Bucks to the upper echelon of the NBA. Malcolm Brogdon, Eric Bledsoe, Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez have all had great seasons under new head coach Mike Budenholzer. As long as Giannis and company continue to play at the high level they are at the Milwaukee should be one of the favorites to make the NBA Finals.
