Robin Lopez, Chicago Bulls

Robin Lopez is a prime candidate to be traded at the deadline, but this will really come down to whether or not the Chicago Bulls can find a deal of their liking. They’ve reportedly been open to trading Lopez, and even declined to buyout his contract in an attempt to find a trade for him.

Whether or not there’s a team out there that would even want to trade for Lopez remains to be seen. It’s one thing to add a backup center to your roster for the playoff push in the buyout market. It’s an entirely different thing to give up an asset for a backup center.

Nevertheless, even if it just comes in exchange for a second-round pick or an expiring contract, I find it hard to believe that the Bulls won’t trade Lopez before they lose him for nothing during the off-season.
