Wesley Matthews, Dallas Mavericks

After being one of the bigger surprises in the NBA this season, the Dallas Mavericks, led by sensational rookie Luka Doncic, have fallen off their early-season pace and are now four games back of the 8th and final spot in the Western Conference playoffs.

Considering that the Mavs likely won’t make the playoffs this season, it would make sense for them to move some of their veteran pieces. That could mean Wesley Matthews, who is in the final year of his contract.

Matthews has proven to be a valuable veteran in years’ past, and is having an underrated season for the Mavs this year. Averaging 13 points on 39 percent from 3-point range, there’s no question that Matthews has what it takes to help a contender during the second half of the season.
