Enes Kanter, New York Knicks

Enes Kanter is a free agent after this season and the New York Knicks would be smart to try and get an asset in exchange for his expiring contract at the NBA Trade Deadline. Question is, what is his value on the open market?

That’s a tough thing to gauge. On one hand, he’s only 26 years old and has shown the ability to be a scoring machine. He’s averaging 14 points and 11 rebounds on 54 percent shooting from the field and 35 percent from 3-point range. On the surface, that’s a player that any team would love to add at this point in the season, especially if it doesn’t cost them much. An expiring contract likely won’t.

One team that reportedly was interested in Kanter was the Sacramento Kings. But talks reportedly never really escalated. Will another team emerge?
