When you look at the box score of an NBA game, what is the first stat you look at? Unless you’re not being entirely truthful, the answer is probably “points”.

I’m the same, but there is so much more that goes into determining the outcome of a game that never even shows up on the box score. And what do teams love having more than anything else (other than a superstar)? Guys who pride themselves on doing the little things that don’t show up in the stats.

Today, we’re going to look at seven of these under-appreciated NBA players who have all essentially made a career out of being more valuable than their box score numbers would suggest.
