Goran Dragic, Miami Heat

The Miami Heat have somewhat accidentally found the future at the point guard position. In partly thanks to the injury to Goran Dragic, I don’t think we’re ever going to see Justise Winslow relinquish the starting point guard spot in the foreseeable future.

That leaves Dragic out of a spot, and possibly coming off the bench for Miami. But why would the Heat just use a starting caliber point guard on the bench, when they could possibly get something in exchange for him at the NBA Trade Deadline.

Which is the biggest reason why the Heat should – and could – look to move Dragic over the next few weeks. The hope is that he returns from injury before the trade deadline, and if he can and show that he’s healthy, it knocks up the probability that he could be moved. Dragic has been great for the Heat, but all good things must come to an end and there’s simply not much use for him in Miami anymore.
