Washington Wizards 20-27

Detroit Pistons 21-26

Dallas Mavericks 21-26

New Orleans Pelicans 22-27

Minnesota Timberwolves 24-24

Sacramento Kings 24-24

As for this group these are the teams who are on the outside of the playoff picture but still have a realistic shot at catching the team in occupying the last playoff spot. The Wizards have looked better lately and they aren’t far behind the Hornets for the 8th seed. The Pistons have a talented frontcourt but have been inconsistent and somewhat of a disappointment so far this season.

The Mavericks and Pelicans are dealing with injury problems that will likely cost them a shot at the playoffs. The Timberwolves and Kings aren’t deal yet but with how strong the west is this season it’s hard to see them making it.
