As for the NBA Finals tier is simply the top three teams in the East. The Celtics have struggled to find their stride this season but once the playoffs come they should have it figured out. The Bucks and Raptors have been the top two teams in the NBA so far record wise and no matter which of the three teams we get the finals should be more competitive this season.
The defending champs
Golden State Warriors 34-14
The Warriors are still the Warriors. They have five All-Stars in their starting lineup and are the heavy favorite to win the NBA Finals. The Warriors have recently found a groove and have seemed to resemble the team many expected to see this season.

The path to the NBA Finals will be tough this year but it’s hard to see them not holding up their third straight NBA Finals trophy and fourth in five years.
